Scaled carp is a farmed variety of common carp with fully developed scale covering over the entire body. It is the most common form of carp in aquaculture.
Habitat
Like common carp, it prefers slow or still waters with soft bottoms and vegetation, and is often found in fish ponds.

Omnivorous; plants and seeds, but also benthic invertebrates from the bottom.
