Description
Bullhead (Cottus gobio) is a freshwater fish distributed in Europe. Grows to 14 cm, usually around 10 cm.
Habitat
Lives in cold, clear, fast waters of small streams and medium rivers, and along gravel shores of cold lakes. Prefers hard substrates and shelters under stones.
Diet
It feeds on small benthic invertebrates, mainly insects and their larvae, and river crayfish.
