Description
European river lamprey (Lampetra fluviatilis) is a primitive fish with an eel-like body and no jaws. It is an anadromous species.
Habitat
Distributed in European coastal waters and rivers. Larvae, called ammocoetes, live buried in riverbed mud.
Diet
Adult cockroaches are parasites; they attach themselves to other fish and feed on their blood and tissue. The larvae feed by filtering small organisms and detritus from the water.
