Fish Habitat Atlas
Choose a species and highlight waters where it appears
V1 includes major Croatian rivers with stable IDs and an extendable species presence map.
The Adriatic is shown for context only. Highlighted waters are freshwater.
How to read the habitat atlas
The atlas shows where a species is recorded in major waters, but it is not a substitute for daily on-site conditions.
How to interpret highlighted waters
Highlighted waters are a distribution signal. Use them as a planning starting point, then verify depth, flow, temperature, and access on site.
What the map does not represent
The map does not confirm current abundance, fish activity, access quality, or legal permission at a specific micro-location.
How to combine the map with other checks
- First, select a target water for your species in the atlas.
- Then verify closed season and minimum size in the encyclopedia.
- Finally, confirm current conditions with the fishing forecast and local rules.
