Description
Scaled carp is a farmed variety of common carp with fully developed scale covering over the entire body. It is the most common form of carp in aquaculture.
Habitat
Like common carp, prefers slow or still waters with soft bottom and vegetation; often in fish ponds.
Diet
Omnivorous; plants and seeds, but also benthic invertebrates from the bottom.
